In pride, most scientists chuff at the mention of God, yet there are a growing number of them who say that science actually gives proof of Intelligent Design. There is undeniable proof of Jesus and who he was. Because of this proof, we must hold Scripture as truth and form our worldview around it.
There are three adversaries which hinder us as we attempt to make friends, but with Jesus already as our friend, we can overcome these to create strong partnerships to support us through the ups and downs of life.
Sickness, Illness and disease are horrible and can make us question God’s love and involvement in our lives. But seek Jesus because He is waiting to tell you how important you are to Him.
Sometimes in marriage, we can feel distant with our spouse, even as we live with them. The same can happen in our relationship with God. But God is always there calling out to us, waiting for our return.
After having a strong relationship with the Lord, I fell into a sinful practice. Even after I stopped, the shame didn't go away. I felt like God couldn't use me anymore. Then one day, He showed me the truth. He discarded my filthy rags of shame and clothed me with peace and hope.
No matter how much we like or dislike our home, we can take hope in knowing that, as believers in Christ, we will one day be welcomed to our perfect home.
I dislike resting, but it is both a command and a necessity.
God asks us to complete tasks we don’t wish to complete nor will necessarily feel capable of completing. When that happens, we mustn’t run like Jonah did, but learn to say yes to the Lord even in our weakness.
One of the main messages of Christmas is hope. But there are years in our life when those prayers for hope go unanswered. Even though it seems like God has failed you, you’re not alone. And even when it’s hard to see, there is always hope.
The first commandment of the ten commandments is to have no other gods before God. Although most of us don’t bow down and worship statues, it can be surprisingly easy to let ourselves and other people become gods instead. When we do, our lives fall apart, but there’s hope.
